A while ago on the microsoft.public.visio.general newsgroup someone asked for a shape that looked like PacMan :-

When creating room or office layouts the wall shape shows a dimension after the shape is dropped on the page and at any time the shape is selected.
This can be turned off - instructions → wallDimensions
